A Alteração de Categoria poderá ser feita sempre que o candidato possuir a Habilitação para categoria B e desejar alterá-la para “C” ou “D”. A Inclusão de categoria ocorrerá quando o candidato possuir qualquer uma das categorias acima e realizar o curso para adicionar a categoria “A” em sua habilitação.

Podem solicitar a Alteração ou Inclusão de Categoria os condutores ou aqueles que possuam a Permissão para Dirigir, desde que não tenham cometido infração grave, gravíssima ou sejam reincidentes em infrações médias, nos doze meses anteriores à solicitação.

Atualmente, para os candidatos que exerçam ou venham a exercer futuramente atividade remunerada com o transporte de bens ou pessoas, será obrigatório submeter-se também a uma nova Avaliação Psicológica, denominada – EAR.
